Refund and Returns Overview

Rapid Bike Pty. Ltd.'s refund and returns policies comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Returns will be at Rapid Bike Pty. Ltd.'s discretion in case of change of mind. In addition, because of the aftermarket and tuning nature of the products, under no circumstances a refund will be allowed in case of wrong installation or testing. 

Feedback from installation and testing results will not be considered if conducted by a non-qualified mechanic. The cost of testing and installation is in no circumstance refundable by Rapid Bike Pty. Ltd.

To request a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as when it was received. It must also be in the original packaging.

A valid proof of purchase is necessary to apply for a refund.

Refunds

Once the returned item is received and inspected, a confirmation email will notify that the returned item has been received. Also, the approval or rejection of the refund will be notified.

If approved, the refund will be processed to the bank details communicated by the customer within 10 working days.
A restocking fee of up to $50 may apply. 

Exchanges

Items are only replaced if defective or damaged. To discuss a possible exchange for a different product, it is advised to contact us at info@rapidbike.com.au

Shipping returns

Once a return or exchange has been accepted, the shipping address and possible return label(s) will be sent via email.

The payment of the shipping fees is normally not included. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 
Moreover, in case of an approved return, a restocking fee of up to $50 may apply.

Rapid Bike Conditions of sale

Rapid Bike devices allow the User to access and modify some engine parameters (e.g., O2 sensor, fuel, rpm limiter, ignition timing etc.). Changing such parameters might affect the vehicle compliance with some countries power and/or speed and/or emissions standards. Also, it might increase the wear and tear of mechanical and electrical components, to the point that the manufacturers’ (or sellers’) warranty might be voided.  

Power Torque Engines Pty Ltd and Rapid Bike Australia Pty Ltd do not grant any warranty and shall never be considered liable for any damage that may derive from using a Rapid Bike device, with respect to any extra wear and/or deterioration of the engine or of any other mechanical and/or electrical part of vehicle.   

The reading and understanding of the Rapid Bike device instructions is essential to the use of any Rapid Bike device (in all its parts).  

All Rapid Bike items come with a 12-month warranty. This warranty shall not be applied if the consumer alters Rapid Bike device and/or if the consumer directly or indirectly repairs it and/or if the non-conformity is due to improper, negligent, or imprudent use of the Rapid Bike device.  

Without prejudice to mandatory law provisions, Power Torque Engines Pty Ltd and Rapid Bike Australia Pty Ltd shall be relieved from any and all contractual and / or extra-contractual liability for personal injury; for direct and / or indirect damage (both with reference to emerging damage and loss of profit); for any claim and / or cost of any kind; which has been suffered by the User or by any third parties and which may derive from the use or misuse and / or may depend and / or in any case may be attributable to a Rapid Bike device, except in the case that those events may be attributable to Power Torque Engines Pty Ltd or Rapid Bike Australia Pty Ltd for wilful misconduct or gross negligence. The foregoing limitations and exclusions shall be applied to the maximum extent permitted by legislation in force in the User's jurisdiction. 

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD A RAPID BIKE DEVICE BE USED TO BREAK THE LAW OF THE COUNTRY OF USE OF THE VEHICLE. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH SUCH PROVISION WOULD DETERMINE THE IMMEDIATE TERMINATION OF THIS AGREEMENT.
